About the Sculpture: The sculpture features a 5-person crew of a comet tank during World War II.

Behind the statue are two plaques (photographed in 2022):
This Memorial was unveiled by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
Colonel in Chief Royal Tank Regiment on 13th June 2000.
