Horizon Magazine - A magazine reviewing literature and art issues was published in London from 1939-1950 under the leadership of editor Cyril Connolly.
Among the magazine’s participants were George Orwell (who was the pen name of Eric Arthur Blair, and wrote, among others, 1984, The Animal Farm and more), Stephen Spender (a poet focused on the class war).
