The grocery store
The grocery store was established in 1936, and you could find everything in it: basic food products, cleaning and bathing materials, clothes, shingles, (main taps), a linen rope and a pipe wrench. For many years, the grocery store was the village’s center of life. Next to him provided official and unofficial information about what was happening in the village.
Next to the grocery store were barracks where a blacksmith and a shoemaker worked, who came from the city, and there was also a butcher who brought beef in his cart. Carp fish were bought from Tzipora Birenbaum at the laundry in the yard.
The grocery store closed in 2007.
