הנס שארע לעיר תל אביב - יפו הוא הנס של העם היהודי. לאורך כל ההסטוריה שלנו נשאו אנשים מיוחדים תרומות מיוחדות למורשת שלנו ובכך סייעו לניסים להתגשם.
בעצם קיומו של כל אחד מהם היה חלום אשר, בהיותו משולב עם דחףונחישות, נשא אותם קדימה.
כל אחד מבין האנשים המיוחדים הללו מגלם את האידיאלים המייצגים את העיר תל אביב - יפו: אופטימיות, אנרגיה והרצון לשרוד ולהתקיים.
כאות הכה בהישגיהם הייחודיים ובתרומות הנדיבות שאנשים מיוחדים אלה העניקו לעם היהודי ולעיר תל אביב-יפו, מעניקה להם קרן תל אביב לפיתוח תואר של שגרירי כבוד.

The miracle of Tel Aviv-Yafo is the miracle of the Jewish people.
Throughout our history, special individuals have made unusual contributions to our heritage helping make miracles come true.
At the center of each one’s existence has been a dream combined with the drive and determination which has carried them forward.
Each one of these special people embodies the ideals which represent the City of Tel Aviy-Yafo itself – optimism, energy, and the will to survive and prevail.
In recognition of the unique accomplishments and contributions which these Special individuals have given to the Jewish people and the City of Tel Aviv-Yafo, the Tel Aviv Foundation has bestowed upon them the title of Honorary Ambassador.
