The Irgun House, also called the Irgun Museum in 1958 after Amichai Paglin and the Gidi House (the underground name of Amichai Paglin).
Amichai Paglin was the Irgun’s operations officer and commanded the Irgun forces that attacked Jaffa during the War of Independence.

In the museum inaugurated in 1983 (which appears on the sign), the battle for Jaffa is commemorated
