המגדל והמחנה
כפר נטר הוקם ביום י’ באב תרצ"ט, 26 ביולי 1939, במסגרת יישובי "חומה ומגדל". היישוב הוקם ע"י בוגרים ועובדים מבית הספר החקלאי "מקווה ישראל", ועל ידי בנות מבית הספר החקלאי בנהלל ובנות ממשק הפועלות.
הכפר נקרא על שם "קרל נטר" מייסד "מקווה ישראל".
ביישוב הוקמו מגדל, חומה, 4 צריפים ומספר אוהלים. במחנה חיו 32 נפש: 20 גברים, 8 נשים ו-4 ילדים.

The tower and the camp
Kfar Netter was established on Tuesday, July 26, 1939, as part of the "Wall and Tower" settlements.
The settlement was established by graduates and workers from the "Mikve Israel" agricultural school, and by girls from the agricultural school in Nahalal and girls from the working farm.
The village is named after "Charles Netter", the founder of "Mikve Israel".
A tower, a wall, 4 barracks and a number of tents were erected in the settlement. The camp was home to 32 people: 20 men, 8 women and 4 children.
