במקום הזה, בשנת 1931, ניטעה חורשה לזכרו של ד"ר חיים יזרעאלי, שנהרג במאורעות תרפ"ט בהגנה על המושבה באר טוביה.
החורשה אמנם איננה, אבל השלט בא להזכיר את אנשי המושבה אשר הגנו עליה.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel

In this place, in 1931, a grove was planted in memory of Dr. Chaim Yizraeli, who was killed in the events of 1929 Palestine riots in defense of the Beer Tuvia colony.
The grove may not be there, but the sign came to remind the people of the colony who defended it.
