THIS IS A REPLICA OF THE ORIGINAL CYLINDER FOUND AND INVESTIGATED BY ANTONIO DE ULLOA IN 1736.
ACORATENE IS THE NAME OF THIS ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATORY AND EQUATORIAL TEMPLE OF THE SUN.
THIS TEMPLE WAS LOCATED AT THE EQUATOR LINE (THE PATH OF THE SUN) IN FRONT OF THE CAYAMBE.
