ניסים נצר למשפחה ציונית בסופיה שבבולגריה, עלה ארצה בגפו. נישא לשרה.
כסנדלר נודע, הכין לגנרל אלנבי זוג נעלי עור גבוהות.
שרה, ילידת פירוט שביוגוסלביה, הייתה צדקת, דאגה לכל.
לימים נולדו להם שבע בנות: תמר, אסתר, רחל, מזל, רבקה, אביבה, מלכה ובן, יהושע, שנפטר בהיותו בן 17.

Kamhi Nissim and Sarah
(nee Varon)
Nissim Kamhi was born into a zionist family in Sofia, Bulgaria.
He came on aliya alone and married Sarah, a woman of virtue.
Together they had seven daughters: Tamar, Esther, Rahel, Mazal, Rivkah, Aviva and Malka, and a single son, Yehoshua, who died at seventeen.
Reputed as a shoemaker, Nissim made a pair of leather boots for General Allenby.

לבית פילוסוף
המשפחה התגוררה באוהל משה עד 1916 ולאחר מכן. העתיקה את מגוריה לרח’ יפו, ליד שעון השמש, ולשכונת מקור ברוך.
אהרון שמחה היה סוחר ירושלמי ובעל מטעים במוצא.
נשא לאישה את וידה, בת הרב אברהם פילוסוף.

Simha Aharon and Vida
(nee Philosoff)
The Simha family lived in Ohel Moshe until 1916 when they moved to Jaffa Road to the vicinity of the solar clock and Mekor Baruch.
Aharon Simha, a Jerusalem merchant with groves in the Motza area, was married to Vida, the daughter of Rabbi Avraham Philosoff.

משפ’ אֵלבוחֵר הרב חיים ולאה
לבית בכר יוסף
הרב חיים אלבוחר בן וידה ושלמה נולד במונסטיר, מקדוניה, ב -1880 ועלה כילד לארץ-ישראל.
תלמיד חכם, מורה, מחנך ורב בישראל, לימד באהבה גדולה 35 שנה תלמוד ודקדוק במוסדות תורה וראה בעבודת כפיים ערך עליון. היה מורה בבית-חינוך יתומים הכללי הספרדי ובתלמודי תורה "דורש ציון" ו"בית אהרון".
הרבנית לאה אלבוחר הייתה צדקת נסתרת, עזרה לבעלה במעשי חסד רבים.

Elboher Rabbi Hayyim
and Leah (nee Behar Yosef)
Rabbi Hayyim Elboher, the son of Vida and Shlomo was born in Monastir, Macedonia in 1880 and came on aliya as a child. For 35 years, Rabbi Elboher lovingly taught the subjects of talmud and grammar in various institutes such as Beit Chinuch, Doresh Zion and Beit Aharon, but he also had a great regard for physical labour.
His wife, Leah, a righteous and benevolent woman assisted him in his charitable deeds.

יצחק לוי עלה בצעירותו מתורכיה והתיישב בעיר העתיקה.
נשא לאישה את לאה שמוצאה מבולגריה.
עסק במסחר, אדם ישר אוהב בריות.
עם הקמת אוהל משה עברו להתגורר בה.
לאה נודעה כאישה יפה וחכמה שעזרה בטיפול בחולים ויולדות, שמונת. ילדיהם: יוסף, מואיס, ניסים, דוד, אלברט, רבקה, רשל ויהודית.

Levy Yitzchak and Leah
Yitzchak Levy made aliya from Turkey as a young man. He settled in the Old City and married Leah of Bulgarian origin. Yitzchak was a merchant, honest and loving of all mankind. With the establishment of Ohel Moshe he moved into the neighborhood.
Leah was known for her beauty and wisdom, always caring for the ailing and women in childbrth. Together they had eight children Yossef, Moise, Nissim, David, Albert, Rivkah, Rachelle and Yehudith.

ביבי עזרא עזאווי ובנו הרצל
סוחר אמיד ומכובד מבגדד, איש חרוץ, מאמין ופשוט. לקיום מנהג התספורת הראשונה "חלאקה" לבנו הרצל נסעו לקברי צדיקים לטבריה ומירון. לפני "החלאקה", עדיין בשיער ארוך, הצטלמו בחזית הקבר של רבי מאיר בעל הנס בטבריה.

Beebe Ezra Azawi
and son, Herzl
Diligent and devout, Ezra Azawi was a respected, well-to-do merchant from Baghdad. In order to fulfill the mitzvah of the "halaka", the first haircut, Ezra traveled to the graves of the Tzadikim in Tiberias and Meron. Before the ceremony, Ezra and Herzl had their photo taken in front of the tomb of Rabbi Meir ba’al HaNess in Tiberias.

ביבי רחל וילדיה
ב -1951 כללה המשפחה חמש בנות ובן אחד.
גג ביתם באוהל משה זה אך הושלם, בקומה השנייה היו חדרי המגורים והאירוח ובקומה התחתונה הפונה אל רח’ אגריפס חנות המסחר לגרעינים ופירות יבשים - מקור פרנסת המשפחה.
אמא עלתה מבגדד, שם הייתה תופרת בארמון. המלוכה.

Beebe Rahel and children
In 1951, the Beebe family numbered five daughters and one son. The roof of the second floor to their house had just been completed, with the living quarters above their Agrippas Street store where they sold dried fruits and seeds. Rahel, the mother of the family, had come from Iraq where she had been a seamstress in the royal palace.
