[ה]אנדרטת ה"הגנה"
ה"הגנה " נוסדה בשנת תר"פ (1920) ובשנת תש"ח (1948) הייתה לצה"ל.

מתוך פקודת יום להקמת ’צבא ההגנה לישראל ’:
"עם הקמת מדינת ישראל יצאה ה’הגנה’ ממחתרת ונהפכה לצבא סדיר.
עצום ורב החוב שחייב היישוב והעם היהודי ל’הגנה’ בכל שלבי קיומה והתפתחותה...
... בלי הנסיון, התכנון, כושר הפעולה והפיקוד, הנאמנות ורוח-הגבורה של ה’הגנה’ לא היה היישוב עומד במבחן הדמים האיום שבא עליו בששת החודשים האלה, ולא היינו מגיעים למדינת ישראל. "

The Haganah Monument
The Haganah was founded in 1920 and in 1948 became part of the IDF.

From a day order for the establishment of the ’Israel Defense Forces’:
"With the establishment of the State of Israel, the Haganah went underground and became a regular army.
Enormous and indebted is the debt that the Yishuv and the Jewish people owe to Haganah at all stages of its existence and development ...
... Without the experience, planning, ability to act and command, loyalty and heroism of the Haganah, the settlement would not have stood the terrible blood test that came upon it during these six months, and we would not have reached the State of Israel. "
