Comments:
A monument to the memory of the founder of the "Reuters" news agency was made by Michael Black, and was placed in 1976, near the Royal Stock Exchange building of London to mark the 125th anniversary of the establishment of the news agency and near the place where the agency was located when it was founded.

On the front side of the monument details of Reuter’s life history are summarized, and on the other side the goals of the Reuters Agency.

The other side of the monument was photographed on the same day Click for a larger image

The statue was made by Michael Black, based on a marble statue made in 1878 and made near Reuter’s retirement from managing the news agency.
