Translation of the text on the sign:
Symbol of Moshav Beit Halevi
Beit Ha’am
The Beit Ha’am building was established in 1948 first as a school that was shared by the children of Beit Halevi and Kfar Monash.
The building was designed as one large space with wooden partitions separating the classrooms. On school days the partitions separated the classrooms and on holidays the partitions were opened into a large party hall.
In addition, the hall was also used for movie screenings every winter Saturday night. The school existed until 1957. That year, the students moved to study in Kfar-Haim. In the early 1980s, the building was expanded to include the People’s Hall, the youth rooms and the Moshav secretariat.
