The 0 kilometer stone is the point of reference from which the distances to the different cities are determined from the city of Budapest.
The statue on which the sign points is located in Buda in Adam Clark Square (immediately after the Chain Bridge) and was erected in 1975 by sculptor Miklós Borsos
