■ Respeite para ser respeitado - Aguarde a sua vez para apanhar uma das ondas do set.
Respect to be respected - Wait for your turn to go on one of the set waves.

■ Não "dropine" outros surfistas - O surfista posi- cionado mais próximo do pico, ou da espuma, tem prioridade sobre os restantes.
Don’t drop in on other surfers - The surfer who is positioned closest to the peak, or the white water, has priority over others.

■ Não dê a volta no pico - Não dê a volta aos restantes surfistas no pico para ganhar prioridade sobre eles. Aguarde a sua vez!
Do not snake - Do not go around other surfers in the line-up to get priority over them. Wait for your turn!

■ Nunca mergulbe de cabeça, independentemente do fundo da praia.
Never dive headfirst, regardless of the bottom of the beach.

■ Mantenha a prancha controlada - No final da onda, saia da prancha em segurança. A remar para fora, nunca largue a prancha.
Keep control of your board - At the end of a ride; kick out of the board in safety. When paddling out, never let go your board.

■ Comunicação é essencial - Ao apanhar uma onda com prioridade, certifique-se que os outros o veem:
Communication is key - When catching a wave with priority, make sure others see you.

■ Após uma queda proteja sempre a cabeça ao regressor ò superficie.
After a fall, always protect your head when you return to the surface, especially on windier days.

■ Nunca surfar entre as bandeiras vermelha e amarela ou das escolas de surf.
Never surf between the red and yellow or the surf school flags.

■ Não faço campismo na praia nem na sua envolvente
Do not camp on the beach or in the surrounding areas.

■ Utilize os passadiços e proteja as dunas.
Use the walkways and protect the dunes.
