A sign in the series of signs in Madrid, made of clay and depicting in an illustration one of the elements of the street

The street is named after a stream that ran through the street before it was built. As a result of the drift from this spring, a lot of sand accumulated in the area, which had to be cleared to build the street. The sign appears to describe the sand removal process.

The sign was painted by Alfredo Ruiz de Luna Gonzalez
