בית הספר העברי הראשון, "חביב"
מבנה בית הספר העברי הראשון בארץ ובעולם הוקם בשנת 1886 (תרמ"ו) במימון הברון רוטשילד כבית ספר לבנות בעוד שהבנים למדו בחדרים שכורים ובמרתף בית הכנסת. שלב הבנייה הראשון היה בן קומה אחת.

מרדכי לובמן, המנהל הראשון של בית הספר, לימד כמה מן המקצועות בשפה העברית. בשנת 1887-8 התמנה דוד יודילוביץ’ למורה בבית הספר יחד עם מרדכי לובמן ובהשראת אליעזר בן-יהודה החלו להנהיג את השפה העברית כשפה השלטת בבית הספר ואת לימוד כל המקצועות בשיטת "עברית בעברית".

בשנת 1930 נוספה למבנה קומה שנייה. בשנת 1951 הוא נקרא על שם דב לובמן חביב, יו"ר ועד המושבה, עסקן ציבור, כורם וכותב תולדות המושבה.
המבנה מוכרז לשימור.

"Haviv", the First Hebrew School
The first Hebrew school in the Land of Israel and in the world. The first stage of construction took place in 1886. The single storey structure was funded by Baron Rothschild as a school for girls. Boys studied in rented rooms and in the Great Synagogue’s basement.
Mordecha Lubman, the school’s first principal, taught several subjects in Hebrew. In 1887-8 David Yudilovitch was appointed as a teacher. Inspired by Eliezer ben Yehuda, Lubman and Yudilovitch instituted the use of Hebrew as the school’s primary language, the format for all subjects being "Hebrew in Hebrew". In 1951 the school was named in honor of Dov Lubman Haviv, Chairman of the Settlement Committee, a public activist, vintner, and author of the settlement’s annals. The structure is a preservation heritage site.
