The English Heritage Trust is a charity that cares for over 400 historical buildings, monuments and other places.

The sign is on the wall of the house where Australian-born actress, journalist and author Pamela Lyndon Travers lived and worked. P.L. Travers , was the pen name of Helen Lyndon Goff, who moved to Britain at the age of 25, and became famous mainly as the author of the Mary Poppins books.
The sign was placed in 2018.
