The sign is on the wall of the house where Maurice Schumann (1911-1998) was born. Journalist, writer and Minister of Foreign Affairs of France between 1969-1973. During World War II, Schumann broadcast from London as part of the Free French Forces. Thanks to his broadcasts he was nicknamed "Voice of France".
