Comments:
The sign appears on the fence of the house where Ernest Eliezer Braun lived. In World War II, Braun hid from the Nazis, among other places in the Vatican in Rome. Braun, who was self-taught, then invented an ointment that reduced infections in operating rooms. In 1953 he came to visit the Dead Sea from the United States where he lived, and during the sixties of the twentieth century he developed a preparation from materials modeled on the Dead Sea to treat psoriasis.
In 1972 immigrated to Israel. Braun contributed a significant portion of the formulas used by the DEAD SEA DRUG (DSD) company that supplies cosmetic products derived from the minerals in the Dead Sea.
