Comments:
The statue that was placed on the Tel Aviv University campus in 2023 is a copy of a statue located in the historic Jewish quarter in Moscow.
The Jewish-Russian sculptor sculpted the image of the Yiddish writer "Shalom Aleichem" (Shalom ben Menachem Nachum Rabinovitch) who, among other things, wrote "Tevye the Milkman" (Fiddler on the Roof) "Motl, Peysi the Cantor’s Son" and many other books.

The statue was photographed by the same photographer on the same day Click for a larger image
