LA CIUDAD DE TOLEDO A MIGUEL DE CERVANTES EN EL IV CENTENARIO DE LA PUBLICACIÓN DEL QUIJOTE, DICIEMBRE 2005
The statue, erected to mark the 400th anniversary of the publication of Miguel de Cervantes Don Quixote, is located in Toledo, the city where the writer lived, on the street named after him. The 2-meter-high statue was made in 2005 by Oscar Alvariño, who said he wanted to design the statue in the "El Greco" style of an elongated figure.
