A monument erected to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the International Sailing Federation, with the honorary president being the former King of Greece: Constantine II. The federation is responsible for all sailing competitions in the world, and in particular the Olympic Games. The monument was erected in Cascais, where the 2007 World Sailing Championships were held several months before its inauguration.
