Comments:
The sign is on the interior wall of the house where the poet Natan Zach (1930-1991) lived. Born in Berlin, Germany, he immigrated to Israel in 1936.
Zach was one of Israel’s most important poets in the second half of the twentieth century. He won the Israel Prize for Poetry (1995), the Bialik Prize (1982), and many other awards.
