כיכר אלנבי
במקום זה, ב-9 בדצמבר 1917 נכנע ראש העיר ירושלים, חוסיין אפנדי, בפני חיילי הצבא הבריטי. האנדרטה שתוכננה ע"י אדריכל א. וולקוזינס בשנת 1920 מוצבת בכיכר ע"ש גנרל אדמונד אלנבי שכבש את העיר ירושלים במלחמת העולם הראשונה.
על האנדרטה מופיע כיתוב באנגלית ובתרגומו:
סמוך למקום זה נכנעה העיר הקדושה לדיוויזיה ה-60 הלונדונית ב-9 לדצמבר 1917. הוקמה על ידי חבריהם לנשק לכל הקצינים, הנגדים והחיילים שנפלו בקרב על ירושלים.

ALLENBY SQUARE
In this place on December 9th 1917 the Mayor of Jerusalem, Mohammed Amin al-Husseini, surrendered to soldiers of the British Army. The monument was designed by the architect Ernest Wallcousins in 1920. It commemorates Field Marshal Allenby’s victory over the Ottoman forces in Jerusalem during the Great War.
The text on the monument reads:
Near this spot, the Holy City was surrendered to the 60th London Division, 9th December 1917. Erected by their comrades to those officers, NCOs and men who fell in fighting for Jerusalem.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel

The sign was placed in December 2017 on the 100th anniversary of the conquest of the city by the British.
