The street in the Jewish quarter of Toledo is named after Samuel ben Meir Ha-Levi Abulafia (1320-1360). He founded the El Transito Synagogue, a synagogue he also built for his own needs, and provided a passage between his home and the synagogue Click for sign's details.
A commemorative plaque is found on the wall of the El Greco Museum, which was the home of Samuel Levi Click for sign's details
