Born in Jerusalem (1950-2005)

One of Israel’s greatest comic artists. In collaboration with Kobi Niv, he published books and comic columns in newspapers. Particularly well known are the characters Joseph - the clerk from the municipality’s Water Department, Ahlan and Sahlan - the Jerusalemite detectives, and others. Dudu Geva also created the Duck character, symbolizing the “loser” (who ultimately ends up being slaughtered).

The figure of Joseph the clerk appears in the dedication to the author of this entry in one of his books (“Kotz in the Potz”) .
