Born in Saint-André-de-Cubzac, France (1860-1912). François-Raoul Larche was a French sculptor, best known for the female figures he sculpted. In 1886, he won the second Prix de Rome and regularly exhibited at the Paris Salon, where he won numerous gold medals, including at the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris.
