Born in Copenhagen, Denmark (1898-1989).
A Danish sculptor who was initially trained as a plasterer and plaster caster, and who became a sculptor through self-education. He was known mainly as a designer of porcelain figurines, and as the creator of “Our Fallen Memorial” and the “National Hero” statue.
