Born in Toulouse, France (1888-1971). Charles Marie Louis Joseph Sarrabezolles, known as Carlo Sarrabezolles, was a leading French sculptor in the Art Deco style. A square in the 15th arrondissement of Paris is named after him (Square Carlo Sarrabezolles), and one of his sculptures is also located there.
His works are found mainly in Paris, but also in the United States and elsewhere.
He is also known for creating several medallions (at least 3) on the façade of the former Faculty of Medicine of the University of Paris
