Born in St. Petersburg, Russia (1883-1950), immigrated to Israel in 1920.
He graduated in architecture from England, and after serving in the British Army in World War I, arrived in Jerusalem where he opened an architecture office.
Designed the buildings of the Hebrew University, the King David Hotel, the City Hall in Haifa and more.
