Born in Tiberias, Israel (1920-2004). A member of the "Climate" group of artists established after the Yom Kippur War in order to deal with the anxieties of war in works that include light and landscapes, he won the Israel Prize for Sculpture in 2000, the Dizengoff Prize for Art of Painting and Sculpture in 1967, the Minister of Education and Culture Award in 1987 and other prizes.
