Born in Kassel, Germany (1901-1962), immigrated to Israel in 1929 Study architecture in Germany and completed his studies in 1925. After his studies, he went to Israel where he worked in Jerusalem. He returned to Germany and worked in an architectural firm. After immigrating to Israel, he worked first in Jerusalem and from 1934 in Haifa. He designed many buildings, including the new commercial center in Haifa (1934, together with his partner from Jerusalem, engineer Yosef Danon).
