Born in Tel Aviv (Jaffa), Israel (1892–1974) An architect and engineer who worked primarily in Tel Aviv, but also designed numerous buildings across Israel, such as the Great Synagogue in Ramat Gan, the public bathhouse in Netanya, and others. He was also active in the political arena, serving as a member of the First Assembly of Representatives and as a delegate to the 17th Zionist Congress. He was among the founders of the moshav Avihayil and one of its first settlers.
