בניין זה שימש תחנת משטרה, בית מעצר וכלא בתקופת השלטון הבריטי.
רבים מבין לוחמי לח"י, אצ"ל וההגנה היו עצורים פה עד להעברתם לבתי סוהר ולמחנות מעצר.
הכיכר נקראת כיום על שם דוד רזיאל, שכונה "האלוף בן-ענת", אחד ממפקדי האצ"ל.

This building served as a police station, jail and prison during the British Mandate period.
Many Lehi, Etzel and Hagana fighters were detained here before their transfer to other locations.
The square is named after David Raziel, an Etzel commander.
