About the series

Background

The tree recognition track named after Mac and Tiby Poodle, located on the Edmond J. Safra Campus of the Hebrew University of Givat Ram.
On the route that covers the area of the campus there are 50 trees from different parts of the world, among which you can find common trees in the Land of Israel such as the Umbrella Pine , the Jerusalem pine , the Palestine Oak , the olive tree . In addition, trees from other places appear on the route, such as a low elm , a Siberian Elm , and the trunk of the largest sequoia tree in Israel .

The 50 trees appear in a special book Fifty Tree Tales: Edmund J. Safra Campus, Givat Ram, Tree Guide

About the signs

The signs are made of metal, are on a pole and are cubic in shape.
On the faces of the cube appear: the description of the tree in Hebrew , the description of the tree in English Click for a larger image, A question related to a tree Click for a larger image, and an answer to this question Click for a larger image

In the upper part of the cube appears the text: Mac and Tibby Podel Discovery Tree Walk Click for a larger image (The misspelled name should be Podell and not Podel)

And on the pole is an arrow leading to the next tree in the route.
