המגדלור
בשנות ה-60 של המאה ה-19 הוצב המגדלור הראשון בראש גבעת יפו, כנראה בסמוך למנזר היווני אורתודוכסי, והיה מבנה עץ פשוט המופעל בנפט. המגדלור הנוכחי הוקם על ידי הבריטים בשנת 1936, בחצר בית משפחת זכריאן הארמנית, המפעילה אותו גם בימינו.

المنارة
في الستينيات من القرن الـ 19 وضعت أول منارة في اعلى تل باقا . ربما بالقرب من دير الروم الأرثوذكس ، وكانت مينى خشبيا بسيطا أدير بالنفط ، بنيت المنارة الحالية على يد البريطانيين عام . 1936 في باحة عائلة زخريان الأرمنية التي تديرها اليوم ايضا .

The Lighthouse
The first lighthouse was built at the top of Jaffa hill in the 1860s, apparently near the Greek Orthodox monastery. It was simply constructed out of wood and used kerosene for fuel. The current lighthouse was built by the British in 1936 in the courtyard of the home of the Armenian Zakarian family, who operates the lighthouse to this day
