Point number 3 in the history of Gedera as depicted on the wall at the southern entrance of the town.

A year after the Bilus came to Gedera, and after the stable built by the residents of the colony without a license and destroyed by the Turkish authorities, the settlers dug a pit and covered it in the roof, so that it could not be demolished (a building has a roof could not be demolished).
In the pit lived both the settlers and their horses.
