ספינות הארגון הצבאי הלאומי (האצ"ל) פרצו את ההסגר הבריטי, נחתו בחוף זה והורידו מסיפוניהן אלפי מעפילים.

היו אלה ספינות אף-על-פי שהושטו לארץ מרחבי אירופה על ידי תנועת ז’בוטינסקי והאצ"ל ועליהן אלפי יהודים שניצלו בדרך זו משהואה אשר התחוללה זמן קצר לאחר מכן.

נתניה העיר היתה בשנים תרצ"ו-ת"ש (1937-1940) שנות השיא של עליית אף-על-פי, נמל הבית העיקרי שלה.

Aliyah of "Af-Al-Pi"
1937-1940

The National Military Organization (Irgun) ships breached the British quarantine, landed on this coast and removed thousands of illegal immigrants from their decks.

These were ships, though reached out of Europe by Jabotinsky and the Irgun, with thousands of Jews rescued in this way from the Holocaust, which occurred shortly thereafter.

Netanyah was during the years of 1937-1940, the peak years of the rise, though its main home port.
