תחנת האוטובוסים המרכזית
במקום זה, בלב "העמק", הוקמה בשנות ה-30 תחנת האוטובוסים המרכזית של רמת-גן.
הנוסעים יכלו לצאת ממנה אל פתח-תקווה, תל-אביב וחיפה.
מבנה התחנה האלגנטי בסגנון האר-דקו, שימש את נהגי שכונת בורוכוב ורמת-גן ("רגב") ואת נהגי פתח-תקוה ("איחוד"), שהקימו את "איחוד-רגב".
בהמשך התאחדו הנהגים עם נהגי תל-אביב ("המעביר") ולימים הוקם הקואופרטיב המשותף "דן".

The Central Bus Station
At this site, in the heart of the valley ("HaEmek") the Ramat-Gan Central Bus Station was established during the 1930’s.
Travelers could leave from there for Petach Tikva, Tel Aviv and Haifa.
The station’s elegant art-deco styled building served the drivers of the Borochov neighborhood and drivers from Ramat-Gan ("Regev") and Petcah Tikva ("Ichud"), who established "Ichud-Regev".
The drivers later united with the drivers of Tel Aviv- ("HaMaavir") and in time, the "Dan" cooperative was established.
