City Hall
The first office of the comitee of Moshav (cooperative settlement) "Ir Ganim" was located in the area of HaRishonim neighborhood. When Ramat-Gan was recognized as a local council in 1926, the offices were relocated to "HaEmek" (the Valley) to the house of Dr. Cohen, the Yishuv’s physician.
This building, which was erected in two stages (the front wing was built in 1932, and the left wing was added in 1942), served as the council building until Ramat-Gan was declared a city in 1950, and since then it is being used as the city hall building. Its wall-climbing plants and the flower clock in the yard have become one of the city’s landmarks.
