שני חדרים בצריף, בכל חדר מיטה וארון וכיסא יחיד. את כוס התה שתו ב"ארוחת ארבע" בחדר האוכל, עיתון קראו ב"בית התרבות" שירותים בחוץ ורחצה במקלחת הציבורית. רק בינואר 1941 הגיע חשמל לצריפים.

Two rooms in a hut, each room with a bed and closet and a single chair. They drank the cup of tea at "four o’clock" in the dining room, a newspaper read at the Culture House, toilets outside, and bathed in the public shower. Only in January 1941 did electricity arrive in the barracks.
