The Abraham Garden
One of the four hills that crowned "HaEmek", this garden was also known as "The Hill." In 1936, the grove was expanded and named "The Victory Garden". In 1946, on Krinitzi’s 60th birthday, the name of the garden was changed to "The Abraham Garden."
The tunnel that was dug below Hakeshet Street (now called Sharet Street) transverses the breadth of the garden and connects the eastern slope to the western one. the amphitheater and the Bialik Bench are located on the eastern slope, and on the western slope, which overlooks Tel Aviv and the sea, a monument to the fallen soldiers of the 1948 War, and the "Ben Gurion" school. In 1948, the entire facility served as a site for General Staff activity and for IDF swearing-in ceremonies. The garden was designed by the municipal garden architect Moshe Kavshani.
