The Committee & Council Building

The management of the village worked out of the El Al office from 1934.
In 1939 they moved to a section of Beit Ha’Am and in the 80’s they moved to their present accommodations.
Before this, the building served as the grocery store and a branch of Bank Leumi.
The village committee functioned as an independent local committee until 1951 and then as an independent Local Council. In 2004 it lost its independence and was formally attached to the South Sharon Regional Council.
