מלון ברנדייס
The Brandeis Hotel

בשונה מרוב מתיישבי רמות השבים, משפחת ברנדייס פתחה בביתה, בשנת 1936,בית מלון, מסעדה ובית קפה. במלון אפשר היה למצוא חדרים ללינת לילה וארוחות, וכן התקיימו בו ערבי ריקודים שבהם הוגשו עוגת התפוחים הידועה (אפפלשטרודל) ועוגת מסורתיות אחרות.
המלון שגשג בתקופת מלחמת העולם השנייה מאחר שהשתכנו בו אורחים רבים מאזור תל-אביב. בין האורחים היו מקומיים וגם חיילי הצבא הבריטי ואחרים שבאו לבלות ולרקוד על רחבת הריקודים.

In 1936, the Brandeis family opened a hotel, restaurant and coffee shop in their home. Rooms were rented, food was served and there were dance evenings during which apple strudel and other baked goods were served. The hotel flourished during WWII when locals, visitors from Tel Aviv, British soldiers and others found lodging and entertainment on the dance floor.
