בנוסף להעפלה דרך היום היו שהעפילו לארץ-ישראל בדרך היבשה. בשנות הארבעים הובילו אנשי "החוליה", לוחמי הפלמ"ח, קבוצות מעפילים מסוריה ומלבנון לגבול הצפון והבריחו אותם ארצה. עולים מעיראק הגיעו במטוסים שנחתו באישון לילה ונוסעיהם הועברו ליישובים קרובים.
בדרכי היבשה והאוויר הגיעו אלפי מעפילים לארץ-ישראל.

Immigration by land and by air
