ביצורי המבצר
המבצר היה מוגן בשלוש מערכות ביצורים. מערכת הביצור החיצונית כללה חומת תמך, מגדלים חצי עגולים ושער. המערכת הפנימית הייתה קיר, שגובהו כ-6 מ’, שתחם את המערכת החיצונית והיה גבוה ממנה. היה זה למעשה הקיר החיצוני של שורת החדרים, שהקיפה את חצר המבצר. מערכת הביצור השלישית הייתה מגדל העוז הגבוה ביותר.
