ביוכימאי יהודי-אמריקאי ופרופסור באוניברסיטת ייל. רותמן עומד בראש המחלקה לביולוגיה תאית בבית הספר לרפואה של האוניברסיטה ומנהל המכון לננו ביולוגיה בקמפוס המערבי של ייל.
בשנת 2013 זכה בפרס נובל לפיזיולוגיה או לרפואה עבור מחקרו על תנועת בועיות.

IN 2013 WON THE NOBEL PRIZE IN PHYSIOLOGY OR MEDICINE FOR HIS RESEARCH ON THE MOVEMENT OF BUBBLES.

Error It is not clear how the Rishon Lezion franchisees came to the conclusion that Rothman won the Nobel Prize in 1987, this year he was the sole winner of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine - Susumu Tonegawa. Especially in the second plaque, the correct year (2013) is indicated. Moreover, on the same boulevard there is another pole dedicated to the same scientist with the correct details (apart from a change in the name of the scientist in the Hebrew spelling, and other details in the second plaque) Click for sign's details
