On the fourth Thursday in November, the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
steps off from this stop on its joyful march to Macy’s Department Store on 34th street.
A colorful cornucopia of world-famous giant character balloons, floats, marching bands, clowns and celebrity talents, this holiday treat for children of all ages has been a beloved tradition for millions of Americans since its first procession through the street of New York City in 1924.

Dedicated November, 2016, to the thousands of Macy’s volunteers who have made the magic possible.
