After the Battle of Nabi Daniel’s Convoy Click for sign's details And the losses that were in it, it was decided to try to take control of the access roads to Jerusalem, instead of relying on convoys traveling in hostile territory. In this operation in which 3 battalions participated, battles were fought in several places. As a result of the operation in which the village of Al-Qastal was captured, the road to Jerusalem was temporarily opened.
