בית קוסובסקי שמחה תוכנן כבניין מגורים על ידי האדריכל זאב טשודנובסקי ונבנה בשנת 1937 בסגנון הבינלאומי. הבניין מתאפיין בבנייה קובייתית א-סימטרית ובמרפסות קונזוליות אופקיות היוצרות מקצב קבוע של המעקה הבנוי לעומת האווריריות של מעקה הברזל. באמצעות ’שבירה’ ונסיגה של החלק הצפוני בקו החזית הראשית, נוצרה רחבה המסמנת את הכניסה הראשית למבנה.
עבודות השימור ותוספת הבניה בוצעו בין השנים 2014-2017 על ידי חברת ארטבוקס השקעות בע"מ, בתכנון בר אוריין אדריכלים.

Simcha Kosovsky House was designed for residential purposes by architect Zeev Tchodanovsky, and built in 1937 in the international style. The building is characterized by its asymmetrical cube construction and horizontal cantilever balconies that create a fixed rhythm between the built-up railing and the airiness of the iron railing. The main entrance of the building is marked by a break in the northern part of the line of the main façade which forms a plaza. Restoration work and additions to the building were carried out in 2014 - 2017 by Artbox Investments, Ltd. Design: Bar Orian Architects.
